NEW TO YOGA..?

Yoga has been traced back over 5,000 years to its roots in India. Yoga is the Sanskrit word for "unity" - "integration", and although there are many different disciplines of yoga, all of them aspire to help students achieve harmony of the body, mind & spirit.

The practice of yoga is an art and a science. Yoga maintains the smooth functioning and health of all the body’s systems. Regular practice of the stretches, twists, bends and inversions, which are the basic movements of the yoga poses, can bring about the following physical benefits:

* Activates and tones all the muscles, bones and organs of the body.

* Boosts metabolism, lymphatic circulation, and hormonal secretions.

* Balances all the systems of the body.

* Corrects posture.

* Improves breathing and increases energy.

* Cleanses the body of toxins and restores strength and stamina.

* Reduces stiffness in the body and sooth and calm the mind.

The yoga poses, while appearing to deal with the physical body alone, work specific parts of the body to sooth and relax the mind. The prolonged practice of yoga will, in time, lead the student to a sense of peace and a feeling of being at one with his or her inner self.

Yoga is an ancient teaching that will help you define a new way of living. It's a journey, a process that is unique to each person because each body is unique. All that is required is the willingness to take your body, your mind and spirit to a new level of consciousness.

5 Steps Program:

1. CREATING AN INTENTION
Check in with your body-mind-spirit to create a connection within.
Establish a purpose for the class.

2. ALLIEGMENT OF ENERGIES
A combination of body movements and chants that will trigger your vital energies points.

3.ASANAS
A variety of postures and body movements specifically adapted for your individual needs.

4. PRANAYAMA
A series of breathing techniques that soothe your senses and nervous system.

5. GUIDED MEDITATION
It’s time for inner focus, feel center, calm and connected to your unlimited source of energy.

* Monthly packages  “ONE-TO-ONE” 90 minutes
classes available.

* Payment Plans available.

* Classes available only in selected areas.


Recommendations...
* You should have an empty stomach for your yoga class, so please leave at least two hours after a main meal.
* Clothing should not restrict your movement. Most people wear shorts or leggings and a t-shirt.
* Yoga is always practiced with bare feet.

Benefits of One-to-One Yoga Practice:

Private yoga instruction not only expedites your learning as you get more specific, in-depth teaching but,  it also allow you to focus on the areas of your practice  and yourself that are needing attention. Each session is tailored to your individual interests and needs in the comfort of a private setting.

If you have injuries or health issues that require
you to modify the practice or, if you wish to use yoga
therapeutically to address these issues, try a series
of private lessons to offer your body exactly what
it’s calling for.

If attending a group class feels uncomfortable to you
for any reason, perhaps you’d like to try a series of
private lessons and then venture to a class when you
feel ready.
